Into The Red

I am honoured to have contributed an illustration to this very special book called Into The Red. The book is a beautiful collection of words and art inspired by Britain’s most vulnerable birds and was curated by Kit Jewitt and Mike Toms and is published by the British Trust for Ornithology.

‘Into the Red is a collaboration between 70 authors and 70 artists with a single goal: to raise funds to support conservation work aiming to reverse the declines of our most at-risk birds. 

Profits from the sale of this book will be donated to BTO and The Rare Breeding Birds Panel to further their work on Red-listed birds.’ 

I was absolutely over the moon to have my artwork alongside the beautiful words written by my friend, Jess French (veterinarian, zoologist, author and broadcaster). Our species of bird in the book is a Ruff. 

This book would make a very special gift to any bird lover and twitcher.
